In addition:
- All medications are ordered from Nihan & Martin Pharmacy. Medication may not be brought in from home or another pharmacy. If it is the wish of the resident to self-medicate and the resident is capable of doing so, the care plan team and the resident's personal physician may provide appropriate authorization in accordance with Residents' Rights.
- Each resident may arrange to have private telephone service in their room or the resident can bring in their own cell phone. Each room is equipped with phone jacks, but the resident must provide their own phone. Service through AT&T at 1-800-244-4444 can be arranged by the resident or responsible party. The resident or representative will be responsible for direct payment of phone service. This is not included in the facility daily rate.
- TV hook-up to a digital antenna is available at no additional charge. Cable can be ordered directly through Comcast at 1-888-736-6608. Billing will be handled directly between the resident or their responsible party and Comcast. Cable fees are not included in the facility daily rate.
- A petty cash fund may be set up for use at the discretion of the resident (snacks and drinks are available for residents to buy, and some activity outings require a fee).
